Throughout the school year I have learned many things from writing and reading blogs. At first I was really bummed about having to blog about what I've learned, but it really grew on me when I started to writing about my experiences. Reflecting on my learning experiences has improved my writing skills. I also learned so many things about my peers and their learning habits too, which expanded my knowledge on other things that I did not know before. My favorite was reading all of the food blogs and learning new recipes, because who doesn't love reading about food, right?
The topic of learning was so broad it was a little hard to try and find things I could write about that wasn't so basic. For example, learning how to ride a bike. But after writing my first blog, I discovered that finding things to talk about were not so hard because we all learn something new everyday. Blogging became an easier process once I found things I was passionate on writing about. Such as learning how to cope with stress and finding yourself in an environment you'll thrive in. These are things that made blogging enjoyable to write about. Getting feedback from my peers through blogging has been the most essential to my learning this year. I have learned from both good and bad advice which has made me much more of an open minded person.
